ParticipantHello everyone
My NEFF dishwasher S51E50X2CB/19 is not completing its cycle. When I load it up and start a wash everything seems ok. Come back later thinking the wash cycle is finished only to open the door and the red tap light is on plus base is filled with water.
This is what I have checked.Drain pipe which has no blockages
Inlet pipe filter which was clean
Inlet water tap which seemed to have good flow and pressure
cleaned filter in base
removed drain pump and checked propeller was clean and free which it was
I removed the end of the drain pipe and put it into a bucket so I could be sure there were no blockages in my house drainage pipes. I then start up my dishwasher as normal and the first thing that happens is it drains out the water that’s in the base
Then it fills up with water and starts a cold rinse for a few minutes. When this rinse is finished it pumps out the dirty water into bucket no problem. Fills up again with water and starts now a warm wash. This will operate for approximately 1.5 hours on til this cycle is finished and then pump out the dirty water no problem again.
It’s at this point every time when my problem arises. It will start to fill up again with water to do the last hot rinse. As it fills up the next thing you hear the machine beeping and water stops filling. After that nothing happens. Open the door and my tap light is on with base filled with water up to the filter mesh.
I’m not sure what to check next as I’m hoping someone will know on here. It will do the same thing every time I put a wash on.
Any help much appreciatedThanks

Moderatorthats an odd fault because all the systems and controls would have already been used so there is no reason it should fail
cant think of anything that will cause it to fail at this point. The only added thing in this part of the cycle is it adds rinse aid if you use it, but , it would not stop the cycle

ParticipantYeah I have always used rinse aid but now it does not get to that stage.
I’m wondering would it be the circuit board that controls the system as it always does the first two wash cycles but when it comes to the last hot rinse that is when it beeps and shuts down every time
strange one

Moderatorit is a strange one as if it was a component failure i would expect it to stop earlier

ParticipantI will keep using it and see if something else changes but so far it’s always the same result. It will wash the dishes but only I have to dry them when I take them out.
Will post here if something else happens but I’m baffled on this one
thanks
