This morning I came to turn on the dryer and have found the controller behaving in a strange fashion…
Starting with the dial on OFF, when I turn it to any setting the child lock countdown will start, enable the child lock and also set a delay end time. I’ve noticed that if I turn it to different settings the delay end time can vary but always the child lock is enabled.
I try to disable the child lock by holding the two buttons but it doesn’t turn off. I’ve tried powering on and off at the mains, turning the the dial to every setting, trying to press the start button quickly, holding buttons when turning on, basically any combination of anything I can think of. However, the child lock always engages and prevents anything from happening.
Is there some kind of programmer reset? Or anything I can try? Thanks.
