Just had someone on enquiring about a ‘pre programmed pcb for a Diplomat 8322’. I asked him why he wanted one and he said someone had been out to repair the dish washer fitted a circ motor and when it didn’t work said it needed a pcb too. Charged him (inc call out) £304 gave him some dishwasher cleaner and detergent as a ‘sorry’ and left saying if you can source one we’ll fit it for free. Talking to him, he’s a bit of a space cadet but only God knows why he agreed to the original repair. It’s 16 years old. Doesn’t know the name of the firm or what the original fault was and it doesn’t sound like he got a receipt……home, home on the range mob.

mad cant believe people are thet gullable, he has paid £300 for a non working dishwasher. I would not have paid the bill as they diagnosed the problem and did not fix it

Is he aware there are 8 different variants of ADP8322 and identifying the correct programmed user board requires the 12NC? I’ve never come across a user board failure on this dishwasher platform, so the diagnosis does seem potentially dubious.

I think, hopefully, he’s seen sense and left it. He’s not been back to me since.
