This is a strange fault to come across, the dishwasher drains out then fill up with cold water then starts to circulate for between 30 secs to 1 min then pump powered down. It sounded like the pump is still running but at much slower speed. The water trickled via the rotor arms and no water pressure to turn the arms.

Am I correct in thinking that the wash pump is faulty?

the pump on this will be 3 phase. since the 3 phase supply is generated from the board unless the motor is tight i cant see it being the motor. it has proved it can do full speed but these motors act as vitual sensors so am not sure what effect that will have on the programme in this case

Here is an excerpt from a service manual of a similiar machine that mat help:

If, during the wash cycle, the Wash Pump (functioning as Virtual Sensor) senses a Clogged Filters/
Suds situation, the main board will reduce the motor rpm by 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.
If the situation stabilizes, the problem will be identified as “Suds” and the pump continues operating
    at the new speed.
If the pump continues to struggle (condition 3: build-up of suds or filters clogged),
the speed will be reduced by a further 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} and the problem identified as “Clogged Filters”. If the
situation stabilizes, the pump will continue operating at the new speed.
If the problem persists, the machine will begin to top up with water until there are
5.5 litres in the tub or until the problem is overcome (whichever occurs first).
If the problem still persists (even after 5.5 litres of water have entered), the machine
will drain and the program skips to the next step of the cycle.
