So had problem with dryer not drying, it seems the ball was all clogged up. Cleared this and quickly tested the pump – initially it seemed ok. However, the machine is not draining now. The pump is turning, the impeller feels fine and there are no blockages!
When it is on without pump filter I can see it throwing water around in the chamber (machine at angle) but not knowing how fast it should be I am wondering if the pump has just got tired? It will pump out if I lower the pipe to a couple of foot, and I have run water through the pipe from the tap.
Just looking for thoughts before I commit to buying a pump..
