we have a NEFF double oven.

    details below

    E-Nr Number , U16E74N5GB/01
    FD number: 9607,

The smaller top oven works fine but when using the larger bottom oven, and you select a cooking function such as circotherm or top/bottom heat, the oven heats up for perhaps 30-60 seconds. Then the electric metre trips.

I switch the electric metre back on and the clock on the oven is flashing all zeros and where the oven temperature should be displayed is displayed without quotation marks “rrr”.

I reset the clock and the “rrr” disappears but when I try using an oven function, the electric metre trips again.

I turn the electric metre back on and once again, you see “rrr”

when reading the oven manual, it says that “rrr” means that the power supply was interrupted.

any idea what is going on? Likely problem ? And part availability?

    thanks

the electric meter is not tripping its the RCD in your fuse board

one of the elements in the oven has an earth fault and you either have to do an insulation test on each element or disconnect both wires from them, make wires safe and try it

when it stops tripping you have found it

    Thanks Dave

Does it require a part to fix?
