Any idea what Torque setting washing machine Transit bolts are installed at?
i want to get a combi drill that has enough Torque with out burning out the drill motor, i don’t want a separate impact driver abd combi drill, my tool bag is already too heavy 🙂
I Install white goods for a living and have to remove 7 or 8 sets of bolts a day, but i also need the combi drill for built in appliances when attaching door fronts
ThanksNope, just tight enough to be in place is enough.
They only need to stop the drum from waggling about when in transit, they do not need to be “tight” as such.
So, I’d avoid using a drill and risking ripping the tank as if you do that, the machine is scrap or it’ll cost you a fortune to put right.
