    I dont know is it just me being unlucky or are spares not as easily available now. This week alone 5 jobs require parts to be specially ordered. I have the usual network of suppliers. Is it a post covid shortage.

    Covid, global supply chain and more all playing into it and it’s affecting not just our industry.

    I was told the other day about a headlight unit for commercial HGV’s that’s common and if bust the vehicle is off the road, 6 months best case lead time for a replacement.

    Not just appliance parts.

    I had a slight nudge in my car recently and needs a new wing panel.
    7 months waiting list for a new one so they are having to get an old time panel beater to knock out the dents.
    Can’t do that with appliance repairs unfortunately.:(
