I’ve had a fridge repair man visit twice now – the reservoir isn’t freezing, apparently its the pipe going from that to (eventually) the water dispenser. He’s replaced the pipe (worked, but only for 24 hours), and then he’s thawed it and added more insulation, and its not frozen again (and leaking).
Any ideas? We’ changed nothing on the fridge other than this and i’m not sure why the pipe would now start freezing. THe ice and water are on their lowest settings.
Fridge man doesn’t know – did mumble that it might be the breakdown in insulation inside the fridge, but without flipping it (not easy!) I can see underneath and have no schematics. All other fridge functions are normal.
Samsungs response was – heres a 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} voucher off a new one! I said I’d like to fix this and not commission it to waste! Not withstanding the £1500-2000 price tag.
Fridge model is RH56J6917SL.
All ideas welcome.
