Our old Cannon range cooker is getting well shabby and I was looking at buying a replacement but icdeally something of better quality and build. However, where I work, we have extensive training kitchens and I can’t help but admire the fantastic cookers we have there. New, they are a bit out of my price range, but I’ve seen loads second hand (lots of catering places closing down I guess) or sold as refurbished. We bought a commercial food mixer a few years back after trying a couple of supposedly robust stand mixers and we never looked back. I wonder if the same applies to cookers?
Not bothered about multiple ovens and worthless plate warmers. One or two ovens and a 6 burner range is what we need.
    What are people’s thoughts?

That’s why I was thinking about when I come to replace my cooker as, I do not want glass doors that break, timers nobody uses and so on, I want robust.

Sadly in the domestic space I’ve not seen anything like that, though I think one of two high end makers might do some but, you’re the same money as you’d pay for a commercial when you get to that point.
