It’s about twenty years old, so that might explain it. It’s about twelve degrees in the fridge, was bout 4 last time I checked about a week ago, although food seems to be fine, and freezer’s about 2 degrees.
Anyway, are the seals meant to be warm? The back has an I assume drip tray which is rusty brown inside and doesnt seem to have seen water for ages. And below that is a cylinder type thing that’s too hot to touch, like the pipes leading to it, is that normal? There seem to be magnets on the thin pipes too? (some fell off, not sure if theyre needed?) I guess youll advise replace it, just want to know if its safe till i get another one, hence questions about the heat. And the weird turpsy smell, which i think is the fridge but not sure, doesnt smell inside.
Are there recommendations on what fridge to buy on here btw? Thanks.
