    Hi can anyone advise me please. I fitted a new motor to my Samsung DV80M heat pump dryer. Started it up and the compressor is not running. Could the NTC in the filter compartment be faulty and stopping the compressor from starting. I have tested the capacitor and it is ok. Any help would be gratefully received.

    have you tried it with wet clothes in

    dont forget these units sense the clothes so if it does not detect dampness it may not turn on compressor due to energy saving
