    Had a look at one of these dryers.
    You can select the programmes as normal but when you push the orange flashing start/pause button nothing happens apart from the button starts flashing red.
    Didn’t have much time to look at it and I suspect it may be the door switch because you get the same symptom if you try to start programme with the door open.
    I don’t think the door switch is going to be easy to access and check so I thought I’d do some research first.
    Anybody had a similar problem?

    Yes but it’s mounted below the user interface pcb so looks like front panel has to be removed.

    have done one and from memory it was not too bad

    to verify try opening the door 10 or 12 times and see if you can get it to go once to try and prove fault

    On this machine the door catch and door switch are separate components in different areas.
    I didn’t have much time to investigate and owing to the fact that it was jammed in cupboard making access very difficult I thought I’d leave for another day.
