I have a Waeco 110CF. About 16 years old but probably less than 500 hours run time.
All of the electrics are failing, cracked circuit boards and plastic connectors crumbling.
It now only runs intermitently when I put the right pressure in the right direction on the circuit boards.
All this suggests the compressor is still OK.So my plan is to replace all the original electrics with a stand alone temperature controller unit with its own thermistor.
This is a basic controller with 6 connectors, power in, power out and thermistor.The Danfoss control unit [101N0220], attached to the compressor, is my obstacle as it has a number of control features including motor speed.
What I dont know (but need to) is the type of signal from the original temperature control circuit going to the Danfoss control unit. Specifically is it a voltage or simply ON/OFF. ???Guidance and words of wisdom most welcome.
its not a make i have ever heard of and from looking it looks like its aimed at the caravan market. dont think its a make we get in the uk as you will often get different units in Aus
unless the compressor is a 3 phase unit its unlikely to be able to alter speed. so its probably just on or off

Danfoss BD35F compressor has been discontinued, the electronic unit MUST be used with the compressor and cannot be bypassed, however the unit is showing on Ebay to purchase ( 101NO220 ) the electronic unit ( inverter ) speeds up the compressor and also acts on the battery to stop it getting fully discharged.
