When I turned my candy condenser tumble dryer on yesterday red sparks, popping noises and smoke were coming from inside the back of the drum so I opened the door real quick as I didn’t want a fire breaking out, and then plumes of smoke then followed. The plug has a burn mark on it now and it tripped my electrics. I’m assuming it tried to catch fire…am I correct? I bought it 3 years ago so it is out of warranty and am not sure what my options are now..any advice?

    Thanks x

The only way to know is to open it up and inspect it, see what. the problem is.

Ok, I opened it up! It looks like the heating element caught fire!! ..also my electric socket on the wall is cracked so I need to get that fixed too! …Will the manufacturer replace the dryer, even out of warranty?

Absolutely, 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} not a hope of that I’m afraid.
