    Hi,

My washer comes up with “tE” as an error code and stops the wash with 30 min to go on a full cycle wash.

The manual says switch it off and call service! nice

I do also have the soap drawer problem – not sure if thats related

    what does ‘tE’ really mean???

thanks in advance for your time/help 😉

tE means that the temperature sensor is faulty.

Often this is caused by a leak from somewhere, possibly the soap dispenser but unlikely. Fairly straightforward and not too expensive to repair 😀

Check Repairs@ for an engineer near you.

    Quick tip:

During the wash cycle, press & hold the temperature button. This displays the current temperature of the water via the temperature sensor, this will tell you if the sensor is working or not

Due to manufacturers copyright issues, we are unable to publish the information you require.

    However,
    http://www.lge.com/support/manual.jsp
should lead you to a replacement manual.
