My son’s washing machine is stuck at 1min on various cycles and not emptying. I tried the drain cycle, the pump spins but wm is not emptying, and the manual drain by the filter outlet is also not emptying wm. Any ideas ?
The other symptom I forgot to mention is that even though the drum has plenty of water inside hardly any water comes out when you remove the filter cover, I’d expect the drum water to drain down through the filter.
If theres water in the drum, but not coming out the filter then there will be something in the sump hose.
Put the filter back, power off and tilt the machine backwards and lean it against the worktop.
Underneath theres a black hose going from the drum to the pump, the blockage will be in there somewhere.
