    My machine slowly fills with water when not in use.. I ‘googled’ it and was pointed towards checking the water intake valve. I bought the machine recently from a friend and wonder if something (filter etc) fell out in transit.. at present there is a mesh/filter but its 2-3 cm inside from the end of opening..
    Can anyone advise….

    Can only be 1 of 2 things cauding that:

    1) Faulty inlet valve letign water trickle in (turn water tap off to see if it stops)

    2) If the drain hose connects to a spigot on the waste under the sink, make sure it loops upwards otherwise water will run back into the machine.
