Hi, I have a Beko WI1573 washing machine and I have had three instances where the circuit board which contains the LED fails. The screen suddenly doesnt display anything during a cycle.

I have replaced this board andthe machine works as normal again. The first time i did this it lasted months, the second time it only lasted a 2.5wks.

Has anyone had this before? Does it suggestthere is a problem elsewhere that is frying the boards or that I am just being sent faulty spare parts (each time they were bought from espares so they are new).

    Thanks

what i think is poss going on is the board power supply fails

am i right in thinking the whole board is dead, ie no lights at all when it fails ?

Yes that is correct. Part of the board does look black, is that consistent with your theory? does this mean I need to replace an additional component not just this board?

    possibly

look for a 7 leg integrated circuit and a low ohm large resistor

would need to dee pics of the board to point you in right direction
