    I have an E22 error code on our Hoover “one touch” HL 1682D3 80. Looking through the Forums this is a Heater fault. So I checked the resistance & continuity of the element and then decided to replace as its an easy cheap option however this hasn’t cured the fault…. any one had the same issue and solved it ?

    well i would now check wiring and the heater relay on the board for bad solder joints

    E22 is wiring dis connected to heater, heater element is open circuit or the pcba main board heater relay is shorted
