This is a weird one as the dishwasher in question is 2 years old just out of guarantee. Tap light flashes and evidence of water leak on the base. It’s dirty water.

The tank seals looks water tight and no obvious source of leak.
Some dirty water ponding around the circulation pump – replaced the pump and that did not resolve.
    Drain pump is squeaky clean
No leaks from the softener, matrix and the internal water feed spout.

It’s a plastic tank and I don’t know if they would have common fault with leak around the sump like you do with the metal tank to sump where you use repair kit to seal it up.

I type this as I will be heading to the job for the third visit to find out the source of the leak. My plan is to check for pin hole or hairline crack in the tank and sump, water diverter and door seal but I worry that it will be done in vain…

There are times I wish Radweld would do the job although it does not apply to dishwasher.

If it’s dirty water, it’s not back filing down the drain hose is it?

always a difficult one, had these units leak all over the place including one where the spot welds were faulty and it spat water out when it was running

all you can do is run it with a torch in hand and hope it leaks

I think I have found a leak – leaking on the rear corner from what appears to be between the plastic base and metal skin, it does looks it is one of those old common faults with plastic tanks where it leaks at the seams. The factory fitted braces weren’t quite up the job as there are no sealant “rope” between the gaps.

Seems rather perverted that I have to take out the factory fitted braces and replace with tank sealing kit equipped with new braces, sealant rope, and lower rotor arm. I left it with the customer to see how she got on. If it went well without issues then I’ll be blowed! Watch this space…
