    Hi,

I have an AEG FSB42607Z 2.5 year old dishwasher that has a filling error alarm (Lights flash once). I’ve replaced the pressure switch which didn’t help. I’ve reaplaced the Aquastop hose which didn’t help (both old and new hoses seem to reduced the mains water pressure). I’ve taken the sides off and can see water entering the orange fill tank, but after 1 minute the alarm occurs. Is this likely to be a flow control regulator or Circulation pump problem, and what is the difference between them?
    Thanks in Advance!

did you check for blockages to the pressure sw ?

if you watch the water going in does it keep going till it faults out or does it pause ?

I’ve checked all pipes and they seem clear. The water continues to feed in via the orange fill tank until it errors. If I take the hose off the feed into the fill tank and feed it into a bucket, it runs at about 2.5l /min. There is plenty of pressure to the Aqualock hose but the hose seems to reduce it. I’ve replaced the hose and the new one flows at the same rate.

sounds like its not detecting the water coming in. the flow rate does not matter a lot as long as its not too slow.

you say you have changed the pressure switch assume you checked the pressure chamber was not blocked feeding it

if yes then you could find the electrical connection to the board and remove and replace it in case its a bad connection

if all that fails am starting to suspect a poss board fault

Thanks Dave! Turns out it was the pressure chamber. I managed to get a Bent cocktail stick up there and a ton of gunk came out. I’m back up and running thanks to your advice
