ParticipantMachine made by Vestel, it is, main board found Vestel, inside parts meet Vestel etc. Printed brand “Upo” and model “D62”.
Product number V16001013, Model D62, Type UNGX13S2AF42251. I know this “D62” found many versions- this is quite old, but manufacturing date or year unknown. This version is without power on switch. It is, when plugged, all electronics is powered. Round slider is potentiometer, not switch.
Problem is: when start any program, drain pump never stop. After a some minutes machine stops and “ready” + “start/stop” blink.
Of course anyone say “haa! Float switch!” but problem is not it. In this model float switch is change-over switch (C-NC-NO) and I bypass float switch. So, now it not regognize floating.
So, when start, drain pump run and run, and then error. Drain pump work: If I put water inside machine, it pump it properly away. Also when i open drain pump, I can see propel inside pump run “strongly”. Also sump is clean and waste tube, it hose, is clear. Any other Vestel model service manual say “drain time out”, and this model manuals say drain error.
Interesting is, drain pump work. Plug in- any washing program- start- drain pump operate- some minutes and error. Again same, standby, then without plug-off- same error. So, always when start program, this error. I put some liter water inside machine- same error. I dry machine, it is, I dry it sump and pour all water away, start program- same error.
Inside this machine I cannot found any measurement element is it sump empty or not. Only NTC. Inside machine I cannot regognize any component measure water away or not. So- what is problem with this machine?

ParticipantDishwasher. A melted water inlet valve single solenoid perhaps.

ParticipantInlet valve not problem- I connect mains direct to inlet valve. Water start ruin. Flow meter roll.
Now measured exact: Select program (any) —> start/stop-button —> 180 second and start/stop + ready start blink. Drain pump stop in this fault. Nothing after this.
– All programs
– Plug off and then test again- no effect, same fault
– “Reset” it is press start/stop – then rotate program switch- wait, this reset program- no effect, same fault
– Drain pump voltage 235 VAC
– Drain pump pump, but no difference is sump filled or not- same fault
– This is all what happened: Drain pump run 180 second, but this is all. Inlet valve not operate, it is, all what happened is this 180 second drain pump operate. So, dishwasher not start take water. Also measured: Inlet valve no power, it is, I connect voltage meter parallel with inlet valve- 180 second drain pump, inlet valve never operate.Problem is, I cannot find any sensor measure this “sump is empty, stop pumping”. Cannot find just this machine manual, but any service manual near this model. This manual looks just same as machine I try fix- only difference is manual contain power switch, my model not. This manual does not “speak” any sensor for “sump empty”. So I cannot know how this “sump level” regognized.
Manual:
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/873406/Vestel-Dishwasher.htmlExact error is “End + start/pause blink”. The waste warter cannot in the machine cannot be discharged. Water discharge hose is clogged (unpossible, inside machine no water). The filters of your machine might be clogged. (Not, cleaned.) Power off you machine and activate program cancellation command. (Yes, tested this many, many, many times, also power off plugged-off.) if error continues, contact the service. (Yes, typically I buy pre-owned devices and fix it… but sometimes I must put thumb to mouth, second thumb to other place, and change…) .
So… error is very mysterious. It looks “inside machine is any hidden sump sensor. It measure waste water is pumped away. But this sensor is broken.”

ParticipantProblem is, I cannot find any sensor measure this “sump is empty, stop pumping” The water level switch is a 3 tag micro switch set into a holder withinn a plastic x shaped plastic grey coloured housing. Have a look at this part number 0005263852 or part 320007541. So you know that the machine will fill if the valve powered via a test lead and you know that the machine will fill meaning that the water fill chamber is not blocked. So have a look at the level switch as above. If that switch is ok and the grey plastic is not blocked then would presume the pcboard is at fault.
I have very limited experience on Vestel dishwashers, seldom seen in UK, least in my area. -
