    Hello All,

I posted recently about a Fridgemaster fridge/freezer that wasn’t getting cold enough. Using the coldest setting available, fridge temps were still hovering around 9-11 degrees C. I decided that this must have meant the fridge was faulty. I’d bought it secondhand and decided to recycle it rather than pay someone to repair it.

Now, I just bought a new Hisense fridge/freezer and unfortunately I’m having the same problem. While it’s a bit better than the one before, on the absolute coldest setting I’m getting readings of 7-9 degrees C. Is this normal? I’m starting to wonder if the problem is the power supply rather than the fridge. However, I’d tried using a different electrical outlet on the other side of the room for the Fridgemaster, and this didn’t help at all.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    T

How are you measuring the temperature?
