Apologies for what seems like a duplicate post, but the previous Model No was incorrect, as there were 2 stickers on the Fridge Freezer.
I don’t seem to be able to edit the original post.
Anyhow, my son has this Fridge Freezer, the Kenwood KNF60HX18 (That’s the Fridge Part no) Serial No. 1842003135
The Freezer below is working perfectly.
The Fridge above is partially working, however it doesn’t seem to keep things very cold, Also the digital display on the front works intermittently.
I noticed that the Door had dropped slightly, and when the door is lifted slightly, the digital display comes on and the Fridge seems to kick in and cool as it should do.

I’m hoping someone might be able to point me in the direction of where to look for a fault please.

Thanks & again apologies for the duplicate post.

    Afternoon all

Today I had some time, so went around to my sons to try & get to the bottom of what is going on with the fridge.

I took off the cover/fascia on top of the door revealing the wiring loom from the main body into the door which travels along the top hinge.
After also removing the fascia on top of the fridge which conceals the loom into the fridge, I noticed that one of the wires had broken (a white wire).

So after finding both ends of the wire and soldering back together, and putting it all back, the fridge is in full working order.

I assume that the wire was almost broken, and thus moving the door made enough of a connection for the fridge to spring into life temporarily.
However upon dismantling, it probably came fully apart.

Anyhow, hopefully this may help someone in the future.

    Regards & Thanks

    Simon:D
