Pump replaced, float cleared, switch checked, wiring checked – all ok.
When plugged in and door closed, pump starts and won’t stop even when no cycle selected.
Runs cycle, heats up, pump pumps – but continues to pump at end of cycle forever. Only switches off when door opened.
Any ideas as otherwise dryer is well looked after and in great condition. Board replacement looks like £157 so don’t want to fork out if I’m missing something
can see from manuals what energises the pump
if it was my job I would check the board and trace the wires back to the board to see if the pump is supplied by a relay or a triac and check if that component short circuit
from what i can see the pump connects to the board on terminals 2 and 4 of connector CN5
