Washing machine still works well, but makes a screeching-grinding sound when emptying both washing and rinse water.
Am I correct in thinking this is likely to be the drain pump? (Could be our fault through not regularly checking the drain-pump filter)
If I’m right, is it easy to remove the drain pump and open it to check if anything is stuck in it — or should I simply replace the drain pump?
