    Hi,

    😕 This fridge is driving me mad! It’s just over 2 years old and for the last few months, every time I pull the salad box out from the base, there is loads of water underneath it. I have to clear up the water every day and it’s getting to be a real pain.

    It doesn’t appear to need defrosting and is not crammed with food, drinks, etc. Also, no item is leaking in there.


    Like a lot of the other posts I’ve read, it seems to struggle to cool when the weather is hot, having to be turned up from it’s usual 1-2 right up to 5 or so.

    Any advice would be gratefully received!

    hi

    have a look at the bottom of your fridge and you will find a channel with a hole in the centre.

    poke a bit of wire down this hole and you will find it clears your problems.

    I have done just that …. and it’s worked! Thanks so much. You’re a star.

    Just one question though (my knowledge of refridgeration is zero) where should that water now drain to and is it just re-circulated? It’s intrigued me…….
