I have a Neff double oven nearly 7 years old. The circotherm main fan unit failed at 18 months and cost an arm and a leg to replace. The replacement failed some 2 years later. I was told there was a problem with them since the Brits roasted in open dishes and the fat got into the fan unit. I was told the unit had been redesigned to overcome this problem. Guess what – it has now gone for a third time. Am I unlucky or is this a known problem. Do I have a comeback on Neff?

Yes the main fan motor assembly is a regular fault on Neff ovens.I would say you have been slightly unfortunate to have had this problem three times in seven years although by no means unheard of. 😥
Personally don`t know of any modification to motor but if you post the full model number there are a couple of Neff engineers who regularly contribute on this site and they may have more information.Bryan
