This machine is not taking the conditioner. Cleaned the tray, it syphons ok. Also cleaned the dispenser housing inside and out, holes are clear. When filled with water under the tap, water comes out of them no problem.
Both inlet valves are working. Have run a 30min wash and valves are on one after the other, but never at the same time. Thought that was needed for water to be directed to conditioner compartment?
    Any ideas? Pcb fault?

    Got them thanks Dave!
Took me a while to make sense of all that.

So supposing the test fails, I assume it means the pcb is at fault?
And then what, is it easy to fix? Or is new board needed?

well see if the board can fire either valve first

dont forget if one valve has lower flow it wont go into right section so it could still be a faulty valve

And if the test works, what does that suggest?

I had one of these with the same issue.
It turned out to be the valve that was faulty. Although it was opening and letting water through, it wasn’t opening fully, thus reducing the required flow rate.

Reporting back. It was exactly what you both said, changed the inlet valves and hey presto, waterfalls in the softener compartment. 🙂

The diagnostic mode had me a bit confused as the test worked, but once the valves were changed there was a marked difference in the flow rate.
