What desibel volume concider to be quiet ?

    hey all
    gonna buy new fridge these days and what concerns me the most is to be quiet
    i noticed they put on the info the Db and most fridges i like has 41Db
    is this concider quit?

    I would say yes. It’s regarded that with the human voice that 30db is a whisper and normal conversation of 60db.

    Bear in mind the noise is only when the compressor is running.

    Yes. My 220 quid Statesman`s fridge is 41db but you hardly know its on. The top range LG £7000 is 37db so a 4 db difference. Most fridges are between 35bd (a retro smeg at £1500). A haier at 43db (£549), Curry`s Logik at 39db about 220 quid. For some reason the Miele product fiche does not work so I don`t know – seems odd that but then it is Miele! Even a 149 quid Kenwood is 41db.

    It’s all on the Miele public website https://www.miele.co.uk/category/1014792/freestanding-fridge-freezers every spec is listed in the product data sheet inc decibel figure.

    Not produced by Miele but by Liebherr ( not waxing lyrical) lol.
