    Hi I have the above dishwasher where the door keeps opening, there is a square rod to right of hook for door catch and when the machine starts working that rod comes out and opens the door. Has anybody come across this before?

    cant see anything iin the tech

    this square rod is it part of the door catch ?

    Hi Dave,
    no this is not part of the door catch this part is t the right of the door catch, it is srewed onto top of the cabinet under the lid. I tried to upload a photo but it says it’s too big.

    Hi Dave,
    I can’t see the part in the drawing but in the description list it is called Closing thermoactuator part no 41903045

    Hi Dave,
    on reading down through info you sent me this part opens the door at the end of some of the cycles maybe this needs replacing but it can also be disabled. Thanks for your help.
