Displaying ’empty container’ with a full load after maybe 3-5′ but is okay with just one damp tea towel. pump is working, hose isn’t blocked ….. is it likely to be the sensor on the pump? It seems the pump is no longer available 🙁

    Any thoughts much appreciated!!

yes the pump is available but its £118

if its an electronic sensor, Bosch do the same thing and they get covered in wet lint and give false readings

may just need a good clean

if it is the pump a the pump chamber would be full.

you say the pump is working so i assume its pumping water up. so i would say it cant be the pump

take it apart and clean it and take it from there

Hmmmm ….questioning myself now. What is confusing me is that it works with one damp tea towel, but as soon as I put a full load in, it comes up with ’empty container’ after a few minutes.
Iam assuming that the sensor in the pump housing is faulty, but I guess it could also be the control unit.

    dont over think it

go back, strip it and clean the sensor

and see where it goes from there
