ParticipantHappy new year folks……or it was. These machines are driving me potty. Mentioned before there are 8 of these in an assisted living block having regular visits. Common fault is that on the dry they shut down, no lights, dead. Usually swap main control pcb and it’s sorted but got one today that the pcb was changed before Christmas and still doing the same fault and for once I’ve seen it happen. Ran for 10 minutes on synth dry and then just dead. Switch off and back on, screen fine, press start and dead again until it cools down. One thing I noticed is that the door held (normally a two click door switch) before it cut out. Could if be another faulty pcb from new?? Anyone had this problem with Beko w/d??

Moderatorassume you have checked heater insulation
i would wait till it trips and start disconnecting external components like heater etc and see if it comes back to life

ParticipantSorry for late reply Dave, been full on. This fault happening intermittently and I’ve only seen it happen on one of the machines. They’ve got loads
.
No resistance/earthing issues when fault occurrs. Problem is on these when the machine goes of (or plug out) it resets to start and doesn’t do it the second, third etc time. One thing I noticed is that the neutral dissappears when the fault occurs. When the machine Spins on the dry cycle is where I saw it happen around 15 minutes in which is where the tenant saw it happen. Pulling my hair out on this one cos it’s a big client with assisted living houses and because of the nature of the place there’s no real info from the customer. Any tech info on these would be appreciated.Cheers.

ParticipantHeater box components definately as they’re open connectors but can’t get to anywhere else to test as it’s packed like a sardine tin with closed connectors. I’d love to get one in a workshop to test but the washer is used constantly and up on 2nd floor.

ParticipantWent to two of them doing the same thing on Friday. Turned off the bluetooth(straws and clutching) one of them hasn’t done it since(intermittent coincidence??) and the other is the same. Sometimes goes all the way through dry sometimes cuts after 10 mins others an hour.
Found out yesterday Beko have been out to a Blomberg wd we supplied in June last year so IG. A list of 8 parts were fitted before an uplift was arranged

ParticipantDoes anyone have a manual for this model. Got two more reporting same fault. Seen the fault after 10mins on one failed a few times. Screen gone blank turn knob to next setting screen back on but 0.00 on every programme. Turn off and back on prog. times shown, press start screen off. Dis this about six/seven times. By time I pulled machine out and took top off and it works perfectly. Two other reported ones seem fine on test. This one is really starting to get at me.
