    Bosch Fridge/Freezer KGN36VL35G/08
I don’t normally repair refrigeration if it’s a system fault but this is my son’s fridge/freezer, so I’m trying to sort it out for him.
A couple of weeks ago he said the fridge wasn’t getting cold but the freezer is OK. I suggested he defrosts it and then see what happens.
This seemed to have solved the problem with the fridge but now he gets an occasional clicking noise.
This clicking appears to happen every hour, it clicks about twice a second for approximately 5 seconds. The clicking is loud enough that it can be heard upstairs at night.
As it only happens for a short time it’s difficult to determine exactly where it’s coming from but he thinks it’s in the back of the freezer.
I have listened to the appliance running and the fan and compressor start up and run without making any noise other than what would be expected.
Can anyone point me in the right direction with this, please?

Just an update in case anyone else comes across this.
The clicking noise was caused by the baffle in the back of the fridge.
A tooth on one of the gears in the small motor had broken.
