Hi, this machine just suddenly stopped rotating and the timer doesn’t move. We had a problem with something stuck in the filter the other day, but draining it manually and removing the object and object got it working again, but today it just doesn’t rotate. I’ve taken the back off, and the drive belt is still firmly attached to the motor and drum, which spins freely when moved by hand. Put it on spin and drain and it will start to drain, water level goes down a bit and then it sits there with the timer stuck on 12 minutes with nothing happening. No noises, no movement. I have to manually drain it.

    Any advice welcomed:)

I’m an electrician and a practical person, so if it’s not too expensive I can hopefully get the thing going again, thanks!

And if the motor brushes have worn out best replace with genuine Beko brushes rather than the cheap pattern brushes and run those in on a programme without any clothes in the machine.
