Ok wife put dryer on cycle , then it popped mains trip just after starting the cycle ..
reset mains trip , washer powers on , i hear it draining , but then after that no spinning / no motor .

no errors on display , it thinks its all ok and starts counting down minutes. . but motor does not spin ( i tested wash cycles and motor still does not spin )

now i have the two main boards out , no signs of damage at moment , 1 is the main board ( i replaced D7 a while ago )
and the 2nd is a intervtor board for the motor ? makes it reverse ?

can anyone help point to what i could check to try and narrow down the issue , where should 240v read etc ..

does sound like a possible inverter board problem

have you had the board out and look at both sides for track or component damage

    thanks dave ,

After checking the board i found scorch marks under the Fuse (F1) i “attempted” to replace this to run a test , but as you might know , it was something else on the board causing the fuse to blow big time !! , anyways i spent no more time on it trying to figure out what on board is causing it ( coil/transformer ? ) and ended up buying a new board from espares , arrived just now and fitted , and washing machine working again …
