    Hi all, my Hotpoint (HE8L493) washing machine went bang and tripped the fuse. It turns back on but won’t start any cycles. It just beeps and the lock symbol light flashes.
    I have unblocked the filter and powered It off for a while. This hasn’t help.
    what can I do?

    I don’t know the machine, but if I were to guess, given what you say, I’d be thinking the door lock had failed.
