    Hotpoint microwave combi oven model MP996IXH

    Anyone had their Hotpoint microwave combi oven go into display mode? I followed these instructions but I think I chose the wrong configuration option and now the display shows as a Whirlpool 6th Sense oven. I tried to do the display reset but it doesn’t work now. Probably because it thinks it’s a different oven now. I tried to power off for 15 mins but it still comes back with the Whirlpool display rather than the original Hotpoint display. Anyone been through this and reset successfully?

    Just had a look at the user manual. Page one indicates you should be able to change the display settings among others.

    Hmm I don’t think that gives an option for that kind of setting. I think these are engineer type settings.

    Worth sitting with a cuppa and having a scroll through the menu settings. You could save yourself £109 odd for Hotpoint to call out.
