Hi, I hope someone can help!
I am trying to source a replacement top oven outer door glass for a Hotpoint BU71N built under oven. I have spoken to Hotpoint Spares department and they tell me that this model number is now fully obsolete. I have tried various other spares websites that seem to suggest that they can supply the correct part but none can confirm the colour of the part and if it is a match for this particular model. I can supply a photo of the oven for clarity but I don’t seem to be able to upload it as an attachment.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, unfortunately the glass did smash.
The following link is for a replacement part that is “supposedly” genuine but they are unable to confirm the colour. I previously attempted to get a replacement when it was first broken and was sent a brown one and then a black one until I eventually found out that our model colour is now obsolete. As it’s an expensive part I don’t want to go through another order and return cycle unnecessarily, hence my enquiry on this forum.
If I can’t get the correct colour then Senior Management (aka my partner!) has said the she will accept a black version as she has now become accustomed to it and as we are hoping to sell the house this year we do not want to replace the whole appliance only to leave it behind. I don’t suppose there’s anywhere that sells reclaimed/second hand/old stock parts is there?

Aslo you have a model of BU71N the N is the colour, change the letter and the part should be the same but different colour
also forget 4home they wont have stock unless they say it is in
