    try this

from off press and hold start turn knob ONE “not two” clicks left after about 10 seconds an odd display shows, turn off all now seems ok.

    This normally works for me

    1. Turn off the machine (dial to 0)
    2. Open the door
    3. Turn control knob to position 1
    4. Close the door
    5. Turn off the machine
    6. Turn the control knob to the six-o-clock program, which is spin
    7. Press the option down button and keep it pressed (This is the button left of the display)
    8. Turn the control knob one position left to seven-o-clock (empty/pump out program)
    9. Release the option down button
    10. Turn off the machine.

    Regards Neil

Yes I had a Siemens machine that would only reset this way the standard turn to position 6 and turn one click to the right etc etc would not work

The reason why they do this is that they don’t want independents to fix them especially now rolling out wifi on all product lines, absolute nightmare
