suppressor part no should be either

    1883880500
    or
    1883880600

both should fit but the one ending 500 is the one i would look for

all the black box is is a connector and unless its burnt its not faulty

suppressor is inside the steel box

had one the other day and it was the heater causing the problem

disconnect the white connectors in your pic and try it

it wont heat but if it doesnt trip it could be the heater. if heater gets wet it will cause same problem

    unpug the 2 white connectors

plug it in and if it trip its not the heater

if it does not trip then the heater is where you look next

    Experts please
Mmmmm, ok apparently the dryer has a leaky earth? according to the electrician that tested it, so using google one prong on the earth prong of plug and the other on the metal back frame of dryer and meter on Ohms, am i right so far? but which Ohm settiing 2M, 200k, 20k or 200, and which readings should i be getting for good and bad?, i should also point out at my house the dryer could run for a month solid and not trip but at there house it trips in every socket? I should add ive changed the plug for a brand new one, instead of the plastic sealed type

    well either will do
you are testing resitance from live or neutral to earth

you should not get a significant reading on either
