    Hi,
I have a Beko WMB81243LB which is about 7 years old.

Yesterday I put it on a “Daily Wash” at 30c which should take 39 minutes. I came back to it over an hour later to find it still washing away. The countdown timer was now showing over an hour remaining (01:09), the temperature display had gone blank, and feeling the door I could tell the water temperature was very very high. It let me cancel the cycle and I just did a rinse and spin cycle afterwards which was fine.

This is the second time it’s done something like this, but the last time was about 6 months ago. Is it a sign of a failing control board? Given it’s 7 years old and a new basic A-rated washer is only about £300, should I just replace the whole thing or worth taking a gamble on the control board?

Perhaps temp sensor is worth a shot first? I guess that’s only cheap.
