Thanks, Well Ive been quoted about £200 for a replacement part so I think maybe a new machine is more sensible. Someon mentioned to me a Zanussi DC512W but I dont know if that has similar dimensions?

thanks, ill look into that one. Would it use the same connections as the Homark which operates from a cold water supply only and inlet hose 3/4″ BSP thread.

D’oh – the Zanussi ZSF2400 is 45cm wide and my cupboard space is 46.5cm.

Is this too close for comfort?

I believe the door opens downwards so that shouldnt be a problem but should I ideally be allowing a bit more breathing space at the sides? height and depth are no problem.

If so, can anyone recommend a similar machine with a width not more than 46.5cm

Thanks for all the good advice so far, this site is great. I have such a small space that to get the zanussi to fit will involve moving some pipes and changing the way the cupboard opens (hinges may get in the way).

Before going down this road can anyone recommend any other similar dishwashers with a width of 42cm or is the standard for this type 45cm. Basically my maximum dimensions without having to alter anything are h52 w42 d52. My Homark was just perfect, if only I could find another one somewhere Ive tried Ebay etc to no avail.

Thanks for the offer. I did actually have someone look at this and they told me it was the wash pump and was quoted around £200. The dishwasher is basically making very loud motor-type noises. Is the circulation motor and the wash pump one and the same thing? Is it easy to replace? I wouldnt want to get out of my depth.

Not particularly but if you paid an engineer say £50 (ish) to fit it 😉

I have the same problem. My Homark se4400 has died. Does anybody no of a shop, warehouse, or even back street bills that is maybe holding one or two of these in stock. I no that Texas, Homebase, B&Q used to sell them. I cannot find another dishwasher with similar dimensions, as I too am limited for space. Does anyone no of anybody that has a stock of refurbished se4400. Somebody must be able to blow the dust off a few they have lying around. Please help & get my wife off my back & allow my hands to recover from constant washing up.
