    Hi,

Last job of the day was this Beko dishwasher that will work now and again but when it doesn’t it flashes up P1. P1 is antiflood error from what I have found online but when I checked the base it was bone dry. I started it on a quick cycle and it ran perfectly, no leaks so I left it run for around 10 mins just to keep an eye on it and it was fine. I cancelled that cycle to get it to drain to try it again and this time it wouldn’t work. So now when you select a cycle it drains then pauses at the point you would expect it to fill for about 10-15 seconds then starts beeping and flashing P1. I was thinking maybe valve but it worked only 10 mins before and I think it comes up with P2 for a no fill fault. This customer seems adamant that she wants it repaired so any pointers would be great.

you are correct about the error code but the switch has 3 wires as its a changeover switch. could one of the wires from the board to the switch be broken ?

CO is the switch DPM drain pump connections KN4 , 5 are on the board

    Hi Dave,

Thanks for this, I think I better get back and check out the wiring loom before I do anything else.

Thanks again Dave. I popped in this morning and sure enough the wire had broken in the loom at the bottom of the door.

These machines are notorious for broken loom wires in the door.
