The unit in the last few days has started to tap intermittently it lasts for around 10 to 15 seconds otherwise both fridge and freezer operate normally at the correct temperatures.
When the tapping is happening opening the doors has no effect.Try doing a full defrost on it could be ice starting to build up around the fan in the freezer min 48 hrs unplugged doors open fully then you should be back to normal

To be without fridge and freezer for 48hrs would be difficult, could I not examine the fan to confirm the diagnosis first.
If I remove the cover in the rear of the freezer compartment I am assuming it will be located there.
As far as I know this is a single fan model.
