Anyone here subcontract to Pacifica? They approached me but only offering £35 per completed job, how can someone make profit from that?

    you cant

no decent engineer would work for that unless they supply van, fuel and insurance

then maybe but if the jobs are miles apart that will make a difference

you cant even make money on spares by the looks of it

It wasn’t inspired by this but this might be of interest:

I’d have knocked back a rate like that 20 years ago.

Don’t go near them. They approached me and Ive been to 4 jobs for them. First blocked waste pipe, second glass in dishwasher drain pump, third customer refused repair because damaged during delivery and 4th I identified fault (concrete weight had broken so ordered one on their system, while still waiting to be paid for first 3. Just found out, by contacting customer as was told Tuesday part was in stock, ANOTHER ENGINEER had been and completed job…. still no money from them (£50 per call). If you had the same call as me, you will be approached on phone by Jonathan and Alexandra Higginson will be your “work contact”. I wish you luck

Alexandra Higginbottom sorry. £50 per call regardless (call out or job…they pay for parts). I thought it was worth a punt. All within 5 mile radius…
