Indesit DIE2B19UK (769991586710) Dishwasher Aborting Cycles/Not Restarting

Good afternoon all,

Another intermittent fault with the above dishwasher.

I was asked to visit, as the dishwasher had stopped mid cycle, and not drained.

My customer’s cousin had “bailed the water out, cleaned the filters, removed the drain pump cover, and not refitted it” prior to calling me.

So, I checked and refitted the above, reset the machine, and tried it on a wash cycle.

However, after a few seconds of silence the dishwasher beeps three times, pauses, and again beeps three times….

There is no drain pump action, and upon opening the door the start button led is flashing. (i.e. not a solid light)

So, I switched the machine off at the socket for a few minutes, and confirmed that the sink drain spigot is clear, prior to trying on a wash cycle again.

The dishwasher then completed a 30 minute wash cycle perfectly, so I thought it had reset itself.

However, I’ve received a call to say the same fault has recurred… does anyone know what the 3 beeps relate to, as I’ve been unable to yet, or perhaps, the fault may be door switch or board related?
