    Hi all
Out of the blue our Beko BDFN26430X lower spray arm started clattering the bottom tray. I replaced with a new arm but this hasn’t cured the issue. 1 end is still sitting noticeably higher than the other. It’s not washing correctly as the lower arm can’t spin
The part fitted to the bottom of the washer that the arm sits in seems to be fine and not damaged or worn inside. Not really sure what to do hence asking here . Any ideas? common fault? fixable? Thanks in advance.

the only one i can remember doing that was one where the floor had been damaged and pushed up, probably during installation or transportation

Yeah could been. but it’s been working fine since January 2023 and hasn’t been moved or knocked . Anyone know what options i have? Do you think I’d get any joy from Curry’s or Beko?

just checked its free standing so only 12 months guarentee

to claim of anyone you would have to try and prove damage was in the unit before delivery. that could be hard

does the floor look like its been bent upwards ?

Solved. The metal base within the dishwasher has bowed on the right hand side which has tilted the spray arm hozel. Unrepairable. Not good for a 20 month old £500 washer ☹️

Just thinking about other manufacturers who have suffered with base problems what temperature washes do you use?

the only long shot you have is to approach the retailer

you need to check legislation but under the sale of goods act goods have to be of merchantable quality, be fit for purpose and last a resonable length of time

its all based on what a reasonable man would expect and you would expect an appliance of this type and cost to last longer

you will find info on how to do this online through citizens advise or the like

    best of luck

    Dave
