    Anyone have any tips for what you do when the grill element retainer hole has rusted through?

    its not a Neff is it ?

    got 2 of them at the moment

    have made 2 brackets will post a pic later so you can see

    not tried them yet but should fit a treat

    cut it in half

    drill 2 holes and add a rivet nut the correct size

    this is becoming an epidemic

    this time a Siemans built in combination microwave. rust around the grill support allowes microwaves to leak out into the case and affect the electronics

    built 2016 so about 8 years old, for an appliance of this manufacturer its well below expected standards

    This is normal at the moment nothing surprises me can’t say any appliance is built any better now than another and they say its because of moisture and people not wiping them out after use
